Staight Outta Compton The Best Movie of the Year!
Character Overview:
Let me say before I give you a thoroughly review of characters portrayal we all new that the focal point of NWA was Ice Cube, Eazy_E and Dr. Dre. that's why believe the movie focus on these individuals.
He may have he may have didn't but one thing for sure the movie didn't highlight it. Nobody was with him to valid that claim. Today Mc Ren sit with a net-worth of between $750,000-$1,000,000 I don't fell his work ethic isn't as strong as a dr. dre, Ice-cube, or an Eazy-E.
Who is he:
MC Ren is an American rapper who has a net worth of $1 million. Born in Compton, California on June 14, 1969, MC Ren was born as Lorenzo Jerald Patterson and is the founder of Villain Entertainment. He has been active in the music industry since 1986 and is also known as The Ruthless Villain, The Villain, and The Villain in Black. He started off as a solo artist on Ruthless Records and later became a member of the rap group N.W.A. with artists known as Ice Cube, Eazy E, Dr. Dre, and DJ Yella. N.W.A. brought attention to gang life and violence in music and released the album Straight Outta Compton, which fueled the rap industry for years to come. Ren left N.W.A. and began a solo career in 1992 when he released his debut studio album, Kizz My Black Azz. The record went platinum, and Ren released Life Sentence just a year later. MC Ren is a known follower of Sunni Islam. He has released six studio albums under his solo career and three albums with N.W.A. He has also appeared in four films about the rap and hip hop industries.
Dj Yella
Who is he:
DJ Yella net worth: DJ Yella is an American DJ, music producer, and film director who has a net worth of $1 million. DJ Yella was born in Compton, California in December 1967. Yella is known for being a founding member of the gangsta rap group N.W.A. and was also a member of the World Class Wreckin' Cru. DJ Yella and Dr. Dre produced Easy-E's debut studio album Eazy-Duz-It as well as all three N.W.A. albums. DJ Yella worked as a producer with Ruthless Records after N.W.A. broke up. He has produced for artists such as J.J. Fad, Yomo & Maulkie, The D.O.C., Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and more. In 1996 he released his debut solo studio album One Mo Nigga ta Go which was certified Gold.
Eazy-E
In the film Eazy-E character was portrayed as the mastermind of N.W.A. According to the biopic he was a emotional gangster, a ladies man, and for some reason a rapper that didn't write his own material. It show that he didn't have a natural flow he had to be trained vocally. The movie proved in every gangster there's a man with a heart. No manner how many neagitive encounters with Suge knight and his crew you couldn't break this man.
It was said the Eazy-E had a networth of $35 million dollars during his lifetime.
Who was he:
Eric Lynn Wright (September 7, 1963 – March 26, 1995), better known by his stage name Eazy-E, was an American rapper who performed solo and in the hip hop group N.W.A. Wright is affectionately called "The Godfather of Gangsta rap". He was born to Richard and Kathie Wright in Compton, California. After dropping out of high school in the tenth grade, he supported himself primarily by selling drugs before investing in Ruthless Records and becoming a rapper. When Ruthless artist Ice Cube wrote "Boyz-n-the-Hood", Dr. Dre, Cube, and Eazy formed N.W.A. After DJ Yella, MC Ren, and Arabian Prince joined the group, N.W.A released N.W.A. and the Posse. In 1988, they released their most controversial album, Straight Outta Compton. The group released two more albums and then disbanded after Eazy released Dr. Dre from his contract.
Ice Cube:
This man was always on the hustle and always on the grind he had entrepreneur inspiration. He consistently wrote to execute his kraft and he even was writing the script to the movie Friday. Probably the most intelligent one out of N.WA. He was the first to leave the group once he realized he was getting played by none other than Jerry Heller.
Who was he:
Ice Cube is an American rapper, actor and producer who has a net worth of $140 million. Ice Cube has transitioned himself from one of the originators of the West Coast Gangsta rap to one of the most powerful people in Hollywood today. Born O'Shea Jackson in South Central Los Angeles, he developed an interest in hip-hop as a teenager and began writing rap songs in his high school keyboarding class. During a year studying architectural drafting, he formed the rap group N.W.A and began performing at parties hosted by group member and influential hip-hop producer Dr. Dre.
Dr. Dre
Like Ice Cube very intelligent man. This man had no problem leaving and starting from the bottom. Where ever this man went success follow. Very business orientated which his is no surprise on why he almost became hip hop first billionaire. The film show he had a bit of baby mama drama.
Who was he:
Dr. Dre net worth: Dr. Dre is an american rapper, actor, entrepreneur and producer who has a net worth of $810 million. Born Andre Romelle Young, Dre was raised in South Central Los Angeles during the budding West coast hip-hop scene. Dre frequented nightclubs where he learned to DJ and became a member of electro-hop group World Class Wreckin' Cru, in 1984. After meeting fellow rapper Ice Cube, Dr. Dre joined rap project N.W.A. run by rapper Eazy-E under Ruthless Records and released the debut album "Straight Outta Compton", in 1988. Violent, profane and undeniably groundbreaking, Straight Outta Compton would eventually be certified double platinum and would go down in music history as one of the most pivotal albums for hip-hop.
Most Important thing about the film:
I believe the most important thing the biopic did rather well of illustrating that's very relevant and still a serious issue Blacks face today; the racism, harassment, and injustice that they receive from law enforcement officers. Now this group was is called, "Niggas With Attitudes. But when the boys showed up the attitude would become extinct. But whatever wrongfully treatment that duo receive from the authorities they accepted it gracefully without putting much of a fight, but they release a controversy track called, "Fuck da Police!" If the black race is going to overcome oppression it's going to take so much more!!!
